Counterfeit Website Alert and Official Statement
Dear BERNY Customers,
Thank you for your continued trust and support.
In recent years, we have identified several fraudulent websites impersonating BERNY. These websites misuse our brand name, product images, and other product information, often promoting incredibly low prices to mislead customers into believing they are shopping through a legitimate BERNY store.
For us, this is more than a matter of brand protection. It is about the safety and trust of our customers. We never want the trust you place in BERNY to put you at risk of fraud or financial loss.
Since publishing our first website safety notice in 2024, we have continued reporting impersonating websites to domain registrars and relevant service providers, taking steps to protect our brand and customers. Despite these efforts, new fraudulent websites continue to emerge, making it increasingly difficult for customers to distinguish legitimate sellers from impersonators.
We are therefore updating this notice to share the fake websites we have identified, highlight common warning signs, and provide practical advice to help you shop safely. We will continue updating this information as new threats are identified.
Please note: The impersonating websites listed below are neither operated nor authorized by BERNY, and they have no official affiliation with our brand.
Official BERNY DTC Store
www.bernywatch.com is BERNY's official direct-to-consumer (DTC) online store for international customers.
BERNY watches are also available through other legitimate retail channels, including authorized third-party marketplaces and retailers.
We recommend purchasing through our official store or verified authorized sales channels. If you are unsure whether a seller is legitimate, please contact our customer service team before making a purchase.
Known Fake BERNY Websites
We have identified the following websites impersonating BERNY:
- thebernywatch.shop
- bernycollection.shop
- bernyhq.shop
- bernywatchurban.shop
- bernywatchofficial.shop
- bernybr.com.br
Important: These websites are not official or authorized BERNY stores.
This list is not exhaustive. Fraudulent websites may change their domain names or launch new sites. We will continue monitoring suspicious activity and updating this notice as additional impersonating websites are identified.
If you come across another suspicious website, please let us know. Your report may help protect other customers.
How to Spot a Fake BERNY Site
Fraudulent websites can look remarkably similar to legitimate online stores. They often copy genuine product information, branding, and website designs to gain customers' trust.
Here are five warning signs to watch for.
1. Beware of Unrealistic Discounts
We have found that some impersonating websites attract customers with extremely low prices, advertising discounts of 50%–70% off, with watches priced at just 30%–50% of their advertised original prices.
While genuine BERNY promotions may be available through our official store and authorized sales channels, exceptionally low prices from unfamiliar sellers should raise concerns.
Before placing an order, compare the offer with prices from trusted BERNY sales channels.
If a deal seems too good to be true, take a moment to verify the seller before purchasing.
2. Check the Seller's Website
Fraudulent websites often use domain names containing the BERNY brand name, sometimes adding words such as "official," "collection," "watch," or "hq" to appear trustworthy.
For example, bernywatchofficial.shop is a known impersonating website , despite containing the word "official."
Be particularly cautious when discovering heavily discounted BERNY watches through unfamiliar advertisements, social media posts, or search engine results. Always check the website address and seller information carefully.
Please note that BERNY products are also sold through legitimate third-party retail channels. A website having a different domain name from bernywatch.com does not automatically mean it is fraudulent.
If you are unsure about a store or promotional offer, you can visit our official DTC website at www.bernywatch.com to compare product information or contact our customer service team to verify the seller.
3. Look Out for Copied Content
Fake websites may copy genuine BERNY product photos, watch model numbers, descriptions, and other branding materials.
Some even reproduce our brand history or use phrases such as "BERNY WATCH Official" or "Since 1995" to appear authentic.
Displaying genuine BERNY product information does not mean a website is operated or authorized by BERNY.
Always verify the seller rather than relying on product images or branding alone.
4. Don't Trust Reviews Alone
Some impersonating websites feature professional-looking designs, five-star reviews, customer testimonials, and claims about worldwide shipping or product warranties.
These elements can be copied or fabricated to create a false sense of trust.
Even a website with HTTPS encryption or a secure-looking checkout page is not necessarily legitimate.
Be cautious if an unfamiliar seller combines unusually low prices with reviews or promotional claims that cannot be independently verified.
5. Check Website Features and Customer Support
Some fake websites may have convincing product pages but lack basic website features or reliable customer support.
Before purchasing, check whether the website provides working customer service contact details, along with clear shipping, return, refund, and warranty policies. You can also try contacting the seller with questions about a product or order.
If important service information is missing, contact details do not work, or your inquiries go unanswered, proceed with caution.
Keep in mind that a functional website or responsive customer service does not necessarily guarantee authenticity.
If you still have doubts about a seller, please contact BERNY through our official customer service channels before making a purchase.
If You've Ordered from a Fake Site
If you have already placed an order through a website you suspect is impersonating BERNY, we understand that you may be concerned about your payment, order, and personal information. We are sorry that you may have encountered such a situation.
We recommend taking the following steps as soon as possible to protect your information and minimize potential losses.
1. Contact Your Payment Provider
Contact your bank, credit card issuer, or payment provider immediately to report the potentially fraudulent transaction.
Ask about your options for disputing the payment, requesting a chargeback, or seeking assistance through buyer protection programs.
2. Save Your Order Details
Keep copies of all relevant information, including:
- Order confirmation emails
- Payment receipts
- Screenshots of the website and product listing
- The suspicious website's URL
- Messages exchanged with the seller
These records may help your payment provider investigate the transaction.
3. Protect Your Personal Information
If you entered credit or debit card details on a suspicious website, contact your card issuer to determine whether additional security measures are needed.
If you created an account using a password that you also use elsewhere, change that password immediately.
4. Watch Out for Further Scams
Be cautious of unexpected messages offering refunds, shipping updates, or order assistance, especially if they request additional payments or sensitive personal information.
5. Report the Incident to BERNY
If possible, please report the suspicious website and your experience to our official customer service team.
Because these fraudulent websites are independently operated by third parties unrelated to BERNY, we cannot access or manage their orders, cancel purchases made through them, or issue refunds on their behalf.
However, we are happy to help verify the website's identity and provide relevant information where possible to support your communication with your payment provider.
Your report may also help us identify additional impersonating websites and warn other customers.
Report a Fake BERNY Site
Protecting our customers and maintaining a safe, trustworthy shopping experience remain important priorities for BERNY.
If you discover a suspicious website, advertisement, or social media account falsely claiming to represent BERNY, we encourage you to report it to our customer service team.
When submitting a report, please include:
- The suspicious website's URL

- A brief description of the suspicious activity
- Relevant order details, if applicable
Please do not share passwords, complete payment card numbers, or other sensitive financial information.
